Emeline: Fairy of Sacred Darkness

Okay, I made a promise to myself to sell away all my Winx OCs and leave the Winx era of my life behind me, and I was doing a pretty good job at that until I realized that Emeline wasn't selling at all. And well... I decided to keep her. #FML :'D I re-drew her, keeping most of her design and palette, and I gave her a new background, so here she is! My one and only Winx OC (and I hope it stays that way lol)! c:
I'm uploading her here because I decided to leave my other account and keep it completely inactive (hence why the two credits on the picture). So in other words: SHE IS NOT AN ADOPTABLE. She's going to be my single OC on this profile ever and I hope to commission some people to get more art of her c:

 Likes: Not really a singer like her mother, she gladly writes lyrics and sheet music, as well as plays music instruments such as piano and the guitar. She likes LOTS of different stuff. Her hobbies are constantly changing.
 Dislikes: Being restricted or bound by rules, but the one thing she hates the most is not being able to express herself creatively - that's her worst punishment.

 Personality:
+ Energetic and dynamic, she's always the ball of energy. 
+ Creative and imaginative. 
+ Always cheerful and tries to look at things from the bright side. Many see her as the girl who's constantly smiling.

- Mischievous. She's always up to something and always the one who ends up getting in trouble.
- Indecisive and restless. There's never going to be just one thing that she likes doing, she'll always find something new, even if that means throwing the unfinished stuff aside.
- She is an independent person. No rules apply to her as her motto is always "Rules are made to be broken". 

 Powers:
Emeline can create, shape and manipulate holy darkness that's highly effective against the supernatural, such as demons and/or angels. The effectiveness, in question, can range from trapping and/or immobilizing to outright banishing or killing supernatural threats. Furthermore, divine elements may have other properties and abilities, such as healing, resurrection, summoning angels and/or spirits of the deceased from Heaven to the material plane.

 Backstory:
Both of Emeline's parents are from Serpens, which is a realm filled with dark energy and most children have a high chance of getting consumed by this energy right after birth, making them pursue the path of darkness by becoming dark wizards or witches. However, her mother escaped such destiny thanks to being born on a nearby planet and spending most of her childhood there. Amelie only had to return to Serpens fulfill her duties after she had finished her studies at Alfea, by marrying Lorenzo, the crown prince of Serpens, as their parents had arranged it even before her birth.

Lorenzo's parents did not approve of her having become a fairy instead of a witch and Lorenzo himself wasn't happy with it either, but the marriage had already been arranged long ago and it had to take place. As a royal couple, they were expected to have children and bring forth an heir to the throne, but due to various issues, it didn't happen that soon. During this time, however, she and Lorenzo got closer and became more than just two people shoved together to continue the royal lineage. 

But when Amelie got pregnant and it was said to be a girl instead of a boy, it was just yet another disappointment to the royal family, mostly from Lorenzo's parents' side. Feeling like a failure and not wanting her daughter to become a witch, she fled to Sacratia without explaining anything to anyone, not even her husband. In complete contrast to Serpens, Sacratia was a realm of light and divinity and it was a realm where Erelah - a close friend of hers - resided, making it the perfect place to raise her child.

For a while, she had a good life there, as no one from Serpens seemed to find her or even be looking for her. But after several months, a Serpentian ship arrived in Sacratia and Erelah hid her away while she herself went to greet the visitor. It turned out to be only Lorenzo on that ship and he'd come only to visit his wife. Hearing that, Amelie came out of her hiding place and faced him. They had a lot of things to discuss, so he stayed there for a few days before he had to leave again to settle matters back in Serpens. It took him a long time, so when he returned, Emeline had already been born.

After that, though, he was there to stay and they finally became a real family. And things were good until at a very young age, Emeline started showing signs of darkness and while Lorenzo had only expected it because of their pure-blood lineage, he supported his wife's decision to use Sacratia's holy magic to purify the darkness. In result, one of Emeline's eyes turned pink and she became the first half-blood in the entire Bonnay bloodline. The darkness inside her was purified and she lived a happy childhood with her family and her aunt Erelah and uncle Malakai, although still keeping a very mischievous personality. 

Upon coming of age, her mother decided to send her to Alfea, which she had graduated from as well, and currently she is a first year student there. (And probably has already managed to get herself in trouble for something. xD )
